A week in Maui with the family ... lots of fun, and a little time to shoot. I’ll be adding a few images during the coming week. The Rainbow Eucalyptus trees are one of my favorite things to shoot. Very beautiful and challenging. I have been trying to shoot them on a rainy day, but again this trip no rain the day I ventured over there. Located 15 miles past Mama’s Fish House on the road to Hana, the bark is the most interesting I have ever seen.
This year I tried using a polarizing filter to help with a little contrast, and was able to get the colors to show up a little more like they do in person.
