C Wayne Fox ... random thoughts about photography (and other stuff)
Tips, product information, and lots of opinions from someone with over 30 years in the photography and photo printing industries.
This site is a project whose purpose is more about improving my writing skills than anything, but what point is writing anything if you don’t put it out there.
Feel free to contact me via email (waynefox@me.com) anytime, even if it’s just to say “Saw your site.” For me photography started as a hobby, became a profession, but now has become ... mmm ... I guess a passionate hobby? What a great time to be involved in photography!
A little about me...
I’ve been a professional portrait photographer for over 30 years, as well as owning and operating a pretty large photographic lab. My current passion is landscape photography - an interest I know is shared by thousands of professionals, semi-professionals and amateurs throughout the world. I tend to write about things that intrigue me, sometimes have a tip I haven’t seen somewhere else. Some of the tips are intended for those new in photography ... I get asked for tips by employees and others quite often - maybe someday I’ll have a nice collection of information for them.
