I was dumbfounded and upset when Hasselblad decided to become a closed system.  Their backs are good, but I already had invested a large amount of money in my PhaseOne back, and Phase is very good about offering reasonable upgrade paths.  I chose Hasselblad when moving to a PhaseOne back ... now I felt they didn’t care about my business.  Sure I can use my back on their newer cameras, but things don’t work like they should.

When I decided to upgrade to the P65+ a few weeks ago, I also decided it was time to give up on the Hasselblad system.  Mamiya has been making good cameras for a very long time, and it seem pointless to buy another PhaseOne back with a Hasselblad mount.

Needless to say I’m really excited ... I have a new PhaseOne system complete with 4 lens and p65+ back on the way.  The Hasselblad is headed to craigslist and eBay.
